Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain language, what data is processed when you use ToolBox.

1) In-browser processing

Most tools (PDF merge, QR codes, calculators, text utilities) run entirely in your browser — your input never reaches our servers.

2) File tools

For tools that require an upload (such as image or PDF compression), your file is sent only to perform that job and is not kept on the server afterwards.

3) Local storage

Preferences such as the light/dark theme, favorites and recent tools are stored in your own browser's localStorage and are never sent to the server.

4) Ratings

When you rate a tool, only the rating and a random anonymous identifier (to prevent duplicate votes) are stored; no personal information is recorded.

5) Ads & analytics

We may use ad networks or analytics tools in the future, which could use cookies. This page will be updated if that happens.

6) Changes

This policy may be updated; the date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
